I’m tired.
We just sold our rather new travel trailer so that we can upgrade to our final RV that we’ll use in our mobile ministry, so the past few days involved getting things in order. That means making sure that all of the various systems of the trailer were in working order (they were), doing some maintenance work, figuring out how to train the new owner in how to run the thing (I probably overdid it), trying to determine how to transfer extended warranty contracts to the new owner, ad nauseum. Of course, my brain wouldn’t slow down in the wee hours of the morning — even when I started doing a lot of praying that all would go OK — so yeah, I’m tired.
Here are a few Bible verses to think of on those days when you’re feeling worn out. They actually did give me some extra energy when I needed it this morning!
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
“From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety,”
Psalms 61:2
“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
Stay happy this weekend and get some much-needed rest!
