Thank you for your positive writings. I wish all the Christians who don't agree with each other would take it private.

Amen! We have a friend who is constantly blasting out her particular view of Christianity on social media. We would never call her out publicly on her narrow and non-biblical take on certain issues, but I have been tempted to respond in private.

We need to agree on two things to be united in Christ. (1) How to become a Christian so we know who our brothers and sisters really are; and (2) how to worship because we do that together. After that, if we say something that is not essential to salvation and it upsets other people, don't say it. Just keep it to ourselves. No one agrees 100% the same on everything in the Bible; it is too deep.

Word artifice used? Confused

You’re not the only confused person! It appears that the original word was auto-corrected and I didn’t catch it in my final edit. I’m also embarrassed to say that I’m not sure what the original word was; possibly “assurance”? I’m going to just edit the word out since my brain can’t remember what I wrote yesterday! 😬
