Galatians 4:1-3; Colossians 2:8 - Legalism binds us back into an immature childhood of faith; Grace removes us from these elemental things and “cause and effect”.
This is the best of your study on Galatians so far. Whenever something good or bad happens to me, I always find myself looking back to see what it is a reward or punishment for. That Law/Karmic thinking is something that we have to get away from. We have to consciously, diligently push those thoughts away with the reminder that the universe treats us AS IF we have lived the sinless, fully righteous and meritorious life of Christ. All of the things that happen to us then are blessings and rewards for His obedience. We get His karma not our own and our karma, the 'handwriting that was against us' has been erased as Paul has it, or per John the books of our works still exist but they are overridden by Another Book, what Lewis called the 'deep magic from before the dawn of time' before the universal ABCs.
