Heaven On Wheels Episode 202212

The Tentmakers

In today’s episode of the Heaven On Wheels video podcast, I look at a surprising similarity between contemporary camping enthusiasts and the Apostle Paul.

Paul was a tentmaker by trade, and used his skill to support himself and others in his ministry. Our scriptural references this week are Acts 18:1-3 and 2 Thessalonians 3:7-8, which both exhort followers of Jesus to not be dependent on others as they seek to spread the Good News.

Our charity outreach this week goes to Bean’s Cafe in Anchorage, Alaska. This organization has been feeding the hungry since 1979 and has expanded into a thriving non-profit providing nourishment, housing, job training, and more.

As always, I’m asking for your assistance in getting the word out about Heaven On Wheels so we can reach as many people as possible.

One final note: these podcasts are also being uploaded to YouTube for posterity. The Heaven On Wheels YouTube channel is another way for us to seek the lost and questioning.
