He Gives Grace Generously

James 4:6

We all want to be more than what we are, so we puff ourselves up bragging of our skills, our possessions, our education, and even our sins.

God doesn’t want that. He’d prefer that we focus less attention on ourselves and more on others, shown in the form of love. The reward for being humble is grace.

“And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.””
