Our cars and smartphones have powerful global navigation satellite systems built into them, so it’s very rare that we get lost going somewhere. Sadly, those same electronics can’t help us find direction in the rest of our lives — particularly in making decisions.
Making a bad choice can have long-lasting, even life-altering consequences. We can ask friends or loved ones for help in making difficult decisions, but they might just tell you what you want to hear and not what you need to hear.
For those really tough decisions, seek direction from one source:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
