Today’s Fruit of the Spirit is Faithfulness.
What does it mean to be faithful? One definition is “steadfast loyalty that isn’t easily swayed”. You can be a faithful friend, a person who sticks by the side of another through good times and bad. Perhaps you’re a faithful partner in marriage, always being there for your spouse and never straying.
When it comes to our relationship with God, faithfulness means that we’ll always trust Him and love Him regardless of circumstances. It means that we’ll follow His commandments no matter how difficult or inconvenient they may be. It’s grounded in our faith in God, knowing that He will respond to our earnest prayers.
Our faithfulness to God should be reflected in our daily lives, making us dependable, loyal, and trustworthy. This Fruit of the Holy Spirit is something that others will be able to see in you. You’ll stand out simply because the traits of faithfulness are so rare in today’s society.
Cultivate faithfulness!
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
Galatians 5:22-23
