There are many things we find amazing: the sheer beauty of God’s creation, the boundless love of God, and the healing power of prayer are among them.
I often scoffed at the latter until I received prayer for a neck injury two and a half years ago. I had suffered from neck and shoulder pain for most of my life due to cervical stenosis, yet since I dropped my disbelief and let His healing powers help me, that pain is gone.
This morning, Barb could barely walk due to what appeared to either be plantar fasciitis and her back and right hand hurt from her rheumatoid arthritis. She put her skepticism aside, received prayer after today’s service, and the pain has largely subsided.
Why do we humans tend to be skeptical of God’s healing? Accept it and be amazed!
“The crowd was amazed! Those who hadn’t been able to speak were talking, the crippled were made well, the lame were walking, and the blind could see again! And they praised the God of Israel.”
