A Cry for Healing
Psalms 30:2
There are so many people I know right now who are in the midst of health issues. Barb and I have a section of our intercessory prayer list that is devoted to those who are sick, and it almost seems as if we’ll need to add another hour each week just to pray for the ailing.
Today’s Psalm should be a reminder that not only do we need the prayers of others to help us heal, but we need to pray to the Creator ourselves when we seek healing.
“O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you restored my health.”
